I did start two samplers on New Year's Day. One was the sampler I chose for the Scarlet Letter challenge, IAMEK Dated 1801, and the other was Jane Pattison. They are in a weekly rotation for for now. I'm still working on the borders of both, so this post isn't too exciting!
IAMEK Dated 1801, Scarlet Letter
Unidentified linen, 40 count
Recommended AVAS threads
Jane Pattison, Shakespeare's Peddler
Vintage Light Examplar, 40 count, Lakeside Linen
Silk conversion by Attic Needlework
Have a great week!!

Great choices! I love them both so far!
Love the new starts, Dona! Makes me want to get back to stitching Janet Irving...and hopefully soon.
Pretty sampler choices! And your stitching is beautiful!
Hope this doesn't double post - I think my computer is ready to bite the dust and my first comment disappeared. :)
You're off to a great start Dona. I'm looking forward to following your progress.
Lovely new starts, Dona! I will be stitching Jane sometime this year. I'm going to try out the wools and see how I like them; otherwise your silks look mighty tempting!
What beautiful samplers, Dona! Great progress on them both. Seeing the pictures makes me long to dig out any sampler that uses silk and get stitching!
Looks like your new year is off to a wonderful start with those pretty new samplers, Dona!! I really love the border on Jane Pattison! Just lovely :)
Both gorgeous starts!!!!!! I am looking forward to watching your progress :-).
Hey Dona, a great start on two wonderful samplers.
Both starts look lovely! I loved jane Pattison from the first time I saw her, but wasn't thrilled about working with the wools. I'm looking forward to seeing future pictures of the silks you're using from The Attic.
